The former apprentices’ home of the Nordstern colliery is a successful combination of typical mining architecture with the modern requirements of functionality, flexibility and high standards for meetings, celebrations, events and seminars.

The food is without artificial additives and freshly prepared. We pamper ourselves with individual dining needs and offer a wide range of dishes: classic and international buffets, barbecue and regional specialties. The team focuses on all food intolerances.

We are large enough to meet your needs and small enough to pamper you individually.

With a photovoltaic system and a combined heat and power plant, we produce a large part of our electricity and thus reduce the CO 2 emissions that are harmful to the climate.

We support a healthy diet. The food is without artificial additives and freshly prepared. The team will, upon prior notification, register for all food intolerances. We cook classic, vegetarian and vegan.

Our house has a wheelchair accessible room, a handicapped shower with WC on the floor and a wheelchair ramp.

The club Arbeiterbildungszentrum was founded in 1986. For 31 years, the ABZ has been organizing a variety of educational and cultural work that is committed to the movement of workers. He is the sponsor of numerous events and meetings, such as The Open Academy www.offene-akademie.org.
